The Krishna Industrial and Agricultrial Exhibition Society was established in the Andhra pradesh in 1975 with the motto "Promotion of Industry, Agriculture, Education, Handicraft and Trade". The Organization aim is to promote the scientific development of agriculture, Technology etc.

From its early days the society has held regular 33 All India Industrial and Agricultural Exhibitions and 3 Krishna Pushkara Exhibitions Successfully. The 34th All Inda Industrial and Agricultural Exhibition 2008 will held in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. The venue for the show was at Swaraj Maidan, Mahathma Gandhi Road. The Exhibition will be conducted from 20th March to 15th May , 2008.

Smt Shailaja Ramaiyer, I.A.S., Collector & District Magistrate, Krishna was the President of the Exhibition Society and Sri K. Prabhakar Reddy, I.A.S., Additional Secretary - C.M. Peshi was the Cheif Guest for the occasion.

Organised by the Krishna Industrial and Agricultural Exhibition Society every year, the exhibition last year was visited by about 9 lakh people. Special emphasis is being laid this year on safety of visitors, with water tanks and chemical sprays being positioned at vantage points at the venue. These measures have been taken following the concerns expressed in several quarters and the suggestions made by the fire services officials. "We duly followed the advice of fire officers in view of the importance and safety of lakhs of visitors," said Society Hon. Secretary G.V, Rama Rao. Two ways were provided for the visiting public in accordance with the safety norms. This time around exhibition is likely to generate Rs.2.25 crores of revenue this year, as against last year's Rs. 1.97 crores.
